Pros

This is a small company with big dreams!!!! We make a difference in the lives of the individuals that we serve. You have to love humanity to do this job. The individuals are a blast to work with. We are seeking people who are competent and passionate. You can learn the business but if you aren't passionate about helping and improving the lives of others, you won't be successful. As a DSP or CAP, you create your day with your individual. You can explore the community, engage in activities, plan an outing with the others.... You are allowed to be as creative as you'd like while caring and enhancing the lives of others. It's a WIN WIN for all!!!

Cons

We are small and there are growing pains, but this too shall pass....

Pros

If there were any pros they were not apparent while I was there.

Cons

Morale in this company is at an all time low. Staff hate management, management write grievances against each other and the owner sits in his little glass cubicle downtown and pretends to be Matk Zuckerberg, wearing ripped jeans and a hoodie. This company is a joke and the CEO is completely clueless about just about everything. He is so into himself, it's all about his ego. He has no clue what is really going on in his own business. If I had a relative with IDD this is the last place in the world I would want them to be.

Pros

We have a team of people with dreams of making a very big impact in whatever we are doing whether it is providing 24 hour care to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or increasing access to healthcare for you and me. I am very happy to be apart of a group always looking to do it better and understanding that starts with empowering passionate employees. Leadership is accessible and have put in lots in place in the short life of this startup to set it apart from competitors.

Cons

The learning curve is rough leading to unintentional mistakes at times, so you have to be willing to be apart of a group that will always give a potential better solution a try. Front line employee turnover could be lower (for entire industry really), but it is improving with many more people seeing anniversaries (this is only regarding the acquired/absorbed IDD business). Being a start up (founded fall 2015, operating Winter 2016) with limited resources, everyone is wearing multiple hats and projects are selected with discretion.
