Pros

Some nice employees, quite pleasant work environment.

Cons

The company has been mismanaged for many years by owners who have been interested in their back pockets with no regard for health, safety and environmental legislation. Examples include chemical waste being poured into drains to save disposal costs, effluent samples regularly falsified and non- existent effluent treatment even though claimed as part of environmental permits. The inflated ego of the owners does not allow them to take any responsibility for this however, it's always somebody else's fault. Very poor company, sailing very close to operating illegally. The only reason they are still in business is probably because the HSE and EA don't have resources to police this type of operation properly.

Pros

A very good place to work, where the atmosphere is more relaxed than a lot of places. If you are a capable and enthusiastic employee you are left to get on with your job. Worked in a lot of places elsewhere, but have found this to be the best place to work.

Cons

There are no real cons. Do the work you are expected to do and all is well. Some of the past employees who have worked here and have left can be thought of as cons. They get found out to be not as capable at their job as they would like you to think, and so have had to go.

Pros

Few good lads that work there. Was always overtime avaliable.

Cons

Where to start.... every health and safety officer that worked there lasted no longer than a year I seen at least 7 new faces at my time at bitrez. 20k a year for working with some of the most toxic and dangerous chemicals in the UK. No chances of a pay rise no matter how much money the company make. No sick pay even if you get a serious illness or if you have an accident in the work place. Its like big brother with the camera's on site the office staff could tell you what you had for dinner. The place is one accident away from someone being seriously injured or even killed. If you want to work 60 hours a week for peanuts this is the place ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK
