      Extremely toxic and racist environment

      Nothing can sweeten up the toxic atmosphere inside the company

      Cons

      Company and management support and cover up racist behavior towards employees. Both management and hr department were trying very hard to cover up completely intolerable behaviour in a company, they even asked me to write down what I’m going to tell my team as a goodbye speech, Hr told me it’s ok to edit it to be acceptable for the company. Company decides to remove employees bonus (40%) without any explanation and as a response you got “you HAVE to sign a new contact in 2 days”, management treats you as a resource that can be easily replaced

      It used to be amazing. Now it’s toxic.

      Pros

      Amazing individuals with great knowledge and drive to win. Okay salary. Modern tech stack. Good secondary benefits.

      Cons

      Toxic management. A few leaders ruin the joy and ambition of many. Lots of burnouts. To Bitvavo: please start people as people, and stop killing motivation and eagerness. Don’t sent vacancies to team members to try and make them leave. Trust your experts instead of overruling by top down decisions. Don’t tell individuals you would not hire them again. Do extend contracts of those that bring healthy reasoning and the human factor. Nice list of values, but please walk the talk. Don’t set people up against each other by creating narratives.

      -Many great benefits -Very nice vibe in the team and company -Enough space for growth and development -Various training programs available -Overall feeling that company cares about its employees -Professional environment -Exciting industry and product

      -As in any scale up, growth comes with a lot of changes and some structural issues, but nothing out of ordinary.

      - Innovative and fast-paced environment: constantly evolving and constantly coming up with new ideas and projects, which keeps things interesting and challenging - Collaborative team: extremely supportive and collaborative. (Almost) everyone is passionate about the company's mission and is willing to work together to achieve it - Benefits: considering comparable companies, good benefits and perks on top of the compensation - Growth opportunities: the company is still growing, which means there are new roles, responsibilities, and projects to take on
