Pros

Working at BlueShift has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I've had the opportunity to support the next generation of students by helping the company teach them coding and I've really enjoyed the collaborative culture at the company; we all work together in a closely knit team. The leadership team is inspiring and empathetic.

Cons

You need to be on site for camps; sometimes parents can be very demanding

Pros

I met some cool and knowledgeable designers and developers. The cafe had decent coffee. It's close to a great pizza place.

Cons

The director of the department is a misogynistic, bi-polar, lunatic, bent on creating an anti-creative atmosphere thick with fear and intimidation. I advise all designers and developers considering this company to run in the opposite direction ... unless that is, you think that daily morning roll call overseen by a dictatorial buffoon sounds fun. Oh, and if you miss the roll call, you are ostracized for the rest of the week.

Pros

-Competitive pay. - 401k is great. - Good health benefits.

Cons

-Fear, intimidation, and threats are how they manage employees. -What does it matter to have good benefits and bad management who cause high turnover. -They place people in management with no management experience. -Most departments management structure is comprised of novices wanting to pretend they know how to run a department. It a complete joke on a daily basis. A far cry of what make a good company a great one. -The motto $hare Happiness is as genuine as pleather. -When the executives can't see the warning signs and declining morale of their departments, how can you call yourselves leader's.
