Pros

Flexible hours and management team is understanding. Get to go out and be proactive about the solar industry.

Cons

New company so not everything is fully established. More training could help interns/part time employees more.

Pros

Good if you are looking for an in-between job or some extra spending cash (that is if you receive any cash--see cons below)

Cons

If you expect to get paid fairly for your work, go elsewhere. The company owes me $200 and refuses to pay due to their unethical contract, which may be in violation of state laws. I don't know if the company's other business practices are as slimy, but I would not doubt it.

Pros

Flexible schedule, co-workers were good people, manager was responsive and could be reached by text. The posting for the job claims good pay, but check the salaries section to see what the pay actually is. Also, the internships offered are unpaid which is very controversial. The company claims to have gotten recent funding, so it would be nice to see that be proven by better corporate responsibility.

Cons

Very high turn over - in my time working I never met a single person who had worked there for more than 3 months (although I did talk to one over the phone). There are some people who stay, but the high turnover says something about how employees are treated in my opinion. Now that they are turning their contractors into employees I hope they begin to offer paid training as is standard. In the interview I was told that we were not required to go door-to-door and yet I was required to go knocking on doors for 3 hours on two different occasions. The job is very similar to a Green Peace "volunteer" where you stand outside a store and try to get people leaving to give you their information. It wears on you after sometime hence why few people stay. Also, the workers at the retail locations get paid more than you (and their job requires talking to people who actually want to talk to them).
