Pros

Working at Brightscope, you'll find yourself surrounded by people who are incredibly motivated, talented and smart - the office is open, which fosters an atmosphere of camaraderie and collaboration. The work is also challenging and engaging. The company is growing and doing well, and the excitement of playing for a winning team is contagious. The senior management have created a culture of transparency, and there's a monthly team meeting where anyone can bring any question to the table, which really helps clarify how the work that you're doing fits into the overall company strategy which is rewarding and motivating. The pace is fast, but people are always willing to lend a helping hand.

Cons

Brightscope isn't a place where you're going to be able to slip through the cracks - expect to work hard. The good news is you're probably going to like what you're doing.

Pros

The management team has done a terrific job cultivating a strong culture and shared set of values. They recognize the importance of mental and physical wellness, and they provide ample incentives to encourage employees to live healthy lifestyles. There are plenty of opportunities for growth, and employees are quickly recognized and rewarded for delivering value to the team. Everyone is expected to bring their unique voice and ideas to the table, which fosters a strong environment of innovation.

Cons

As the company works to find scale, there are naturally growing pains that need to be navigated. All employees must be comfortable working well beyond the scope of their job description to keep this high-functioning organization moving.

Pros

Great managers who will push you to learn new skills without micromanaging preformance. Difficult to achieve objectives means employees grow to meet the challenges and expectations placed upon them. A friendly lunch and after hours environment promotes strong relationships amongst team members.

Cons

Occasionally it is difficult to judge how individual preformance stacks up against the rest of the team. Upper management heirarchy is not very transparent to most employee's.
