Good company, but work environment culture is absent

Company seems to be doing well financially and from the financial perspective is a stable place to work in. Cool domain to be working on. One could learn a lot at Budbee, on how tech can help logistics. You can gain a lot of experience on a growing company, what to do and what not.

Work environment culture is missing, probably due to the high employee turnover rate, which in turn also makes it hard to build a culture. Sharp vertical hierarchy when it comes to decision making. Management sometimes will ignore the whole team's advice in order to achieve goals before deadlines, in the name of the company's business growth, which results in rushed and subsequently low quality work. Old tech and no initiative to convert to newer tech. Absent metrics for evaluating employee performance and a recently adopted but outdated framework to measure and sustain employee growth, the ineffectiveness of which is affected greatly by the high employee turnover of engineering managers. Though the company runs on tech and the tech department plays the greatest role, at heart it still is a logistics company and not a tech one (they've trademarked "logitech", so probably its how they want the company to be). While every other company now offers a hybrid way of working and leaving the choice of working from the office the employee, management believes that the employees should be working from the office as much as possible and they try to reinforce this.
