Executive turnover remains a serious issue, with the recent firing of the CFO being just the latest example, though in this case, it’s a much-needed change. Her hire was a mistake from the start, and her exit feels like a step forward. What’s harder to understand is how the CRO is still in the role. Performance has been underwhelming for a long time, targets have repeatedly been missed, and the leadership style is ineffective at best. Many within the company are openly confused as to why he remains in the position when it’s clear he’s out of his depth. This inconsistency in accountability at the top sends the wrong message to the rest of the company which once was experiencing very positive growth in sales before he joined.

So the CEO has been publicly fired which is a win but is only half the problem you see. The Chairman has been working as Keiths business coach for years and is just as responsible for his failings as the CEO. Yet Barry is now the temporary CEO while Keith becomes the fall guy? Come on.. What about the CFO employed to help the CEO figure things out? She exacerbated all of Keith's shortcomings and yet she hasn't been removed? These two people were put in place to help the CEO learn and grow. The opposite happened. He got nastier and started to make worse decisions and the consequences for those people? Nothing.
