Pros

Flat management structure where ideas are welcomed and new initiatives implemented. The organisation recently went through significant change in management and operating style which has been very positive. Good work life balance, fun staff social events and there is a nice collegiate environment. The work is interesting and varied with lots of networking opportunities.

Cons

Infrastructure (building, work space, technology etc) is a bit outdated but that is being addressed. There was also high staff turnover prior to 2019 which could often make it difficult to work as there wasn’t continuity or clearly defined responsibilities but that has significantly improved now.

Pros

I have been employed by CCIWA for over a long period of time and have found the company to be a fantastic place to learn, develop in my career and have excellent work/life balance. The people here are great to work with and the new Leadership Team is full of energy and passion, they have a strong desire to improve culture and engagement. I would not hesitate with recommending CCIWA as a fantastic place to work!

Cons

All my areas of concerns were rectified through the robust Strategic Plan and Engagement Plan.

Pros

Good ideas are encouraged from anyone in the organisation, you can make real impact if you have the ambition. Managers support the implementation of good ideas with resources (budget, other staff, coaching). Working in a multi-disciplinary team broadens your skillset - you can add value to your colleagues' work with your particular skills (which is professionally satisfying) and vice versa. Most of the team is relatively new to the organisation, so you won't encounter internal resistance to change. Very flat organisational structure - not uncommon to share a beer with the CEO on a Friday!

Cons

Working in a multi-disciplinary team can be challenging, good intentions might not always translate into success if you don't understand other teams' objectives. The organisation has a recent history of high staff turnover, however new management has made staff engagement and culture a top priority.
