The work is tedious, the pay is pathetic (contract reviewers are now being screwed with the $37.50 per review scheme, which is negatively hitting the quality of work being produced), the staff, who used to be very good, are slowly being replaced by morons, and nepotism is rife. Do not expect to climb the promotion ladder at the company unless you are very good at sucking up to certain individuals.

Everything now. This was a good gig to have a second job or some I know made this their full time job. It’s horrible now. It was a reasonable $25/hr job. Now they pay you $37.50 per case. I am damn good at my job, and a case could take me 2-14 hours. Depending on how many pages and requests. So now you’re making less than minimum wage here. Screw doing any cases with more than a couple requests , and especially if it’s surgery. Oh and don’t bother with questions about your job. The people who are supposed to help you have no idea what they’re doing. They don’t answer your question because they know a guideline doesn’t exist or have no idea what to use, but will never say that. Other companies, do not hire CID to do your cases. They are have screwed their employees and upper management is clueless to what they are doing.
