I really wouldn’t recommend this job to my worst enemy. If you are considering working here, reached out to past AEs at the company on LinkedIn and ask about their experience. I wish I did this. Extremely toxic work environment, crazy turnover, people last maybe 2-6 months max. Extremely territory driven but leadership will not acknowledge it. They get mad at you if you even consider questioning your territory. All the managers serve themselves first. I think since I have started I have seen 15+ people leave or get fired. Churn and burn environment, they guilt you into working long hours. Ridicule you for leaving at 5 or coming in at 9 (which are the outlined hours). Constant threat of putting you on a performance plan without giving any coaching or assistance to their reps. Zero support for most AEs that are not manager level.

No direction. Company is a social club where they pic favorites

Gates in comp plan means no one, besides the few chosen ones, are actually making any money despite all the rah rah theater that takes place in office

Poor training for employees and basic training for Managers. Get it or get out mentality. Fratty and clique culture. The Miami leadership is a joke, but because they grind like a toxic military, they get rewarded and bonuses to churn staff. Massive losses on the Exec and senior leaderships team in the last year- not sure if Crexi is going to make it, Thats always a bad sign

They became more stingy with their commission structure and raised the goals for no reason, making it harder for employee to earn more money when the company keeps growing and hitting records month after month.

Management & comp plan (constant fluctuation)

Improper expectation setting in term of activity, average deal size, and territory when first taking the role. Favoritism by setting up more tenured reps (and friends of management) for success and making newer or reps they don't like struggle with poor territory and no support. Management provides no support or ongoing training and then blames you when your numbers arent right.
