Pros
truly a diverse student population, safe campus, small and familial; some outstanding students
Cons
Most tenure-track faculty treat the essential Instructors very poorly. The number of students and the number of hours required per quarter make it almost impossible to teach even at a mediocre level with any kind of pertinent feedback to students. Excellence is perhaps attainable only for those with tenure who do not have to pay attention to dissatisfied students - they can go out on a limb and try new things and to "push" the students to excel. The majority of students are very ill-equipped for college.
