Creatives should be PROGRESSIVE and not SEXIST

Most of my co-workers outside of Creative management, and the ability to work from home

I would first like to applaud the person that had the courage to write the review about the sexist behavior from the 2 people in charge of the Cadient creative department. I have witnessed it and have been subjected to it first hand. I equate it to a 'Mad Men' type environment but without the cigarettes. Not only are the women fed up, but there is also strong support from other men who find this demeaning and completely unacceptable.

There are some great people here, and I am proud to call them my friends.

Cons

There is a very real issue with sexist behavior in the creative department, stemming from two individuals in particular. One of these individuals has had no fewer than three incidents which required the attention of senior management and HR in the last two years. This is 2017. Anything less than a zero tolerance policy when it comes to sexist behavior is unacceptable. Accept at Cadient. This should not be an issue that employees are forced to cope with.

Some of the best people I have ever worked with. Some very talented and hard working people. Excellent work from home policy. The people keep me hoping it’ll return to an awesome place. It’s one of the positives of coming to work everyday.

Cons

There continues to be a cancer in the creative department. It is continuing to have a negative effect on all areas of the company. Many people are jumping ship because of this. They claim to be an advocate for women, but are the first to speak poorly of fellow women counterparts. Instead of squashing the constant badgering of fellow employees as well direct reports, the company continues to reward this behavior by way of undeserved promotions. In short, bad behavior is tolerated here. It is time to deal with this behavior before the entire creative department as well as other areas resign.
