Cons
This is the worst company that I have ever worked for. If you are lucky to get any training, everyone is trained and told something completely different, and then you get scolded for not following procedure. They do not listen to any of your ideas, but rather continue using old practices and methods that no longer make any sense. There is no communication or teamwork. This company is run by friends and family and if you are not one of them, your work life is going to be pretty bad. They recently converted to a new accounting software with all sorts of modern features; however, rather than using live bank feeds, the accounting management insisted on using old rinky-dink Excel spreadsheets to tabulate all of the checking account transactions rather than coding those bank lines in the accounting software in real time. The amount of time and energy wasted on nonsense was mind boggling.
