Pros

Some of the team can be fun to work with.

Cons

- Nothing ever changes - Will continue to promise growth and expansion + marketing efforts with no actual action - Product could be great but no one is using it - You leave clients feeling disappointed and lied to unintentionally - Whenever issues are raised management becomes defensive instead of considering feedback and making actual efforts for improvement - Still selling the same dream sold to candidates years ago (based on previous reviews) and nothing has changed since - Continue to build out the sales team with no efforts made in other sectors who probably need it more - Full sales focus - constantly pushing for more sales/clients even though little effort is being made to get candidates to use the platform (no point in selling something that won't work/doesn't have the audience) - Negative/constructive feedback is shunned upon In summary you just need to read through all the reviews from former sales staff to understand.

Pros

Back in the day the Sales Kickoffs & Christmas Parties were brilliant! When the Monster brand were involved there was a lot of new products to sell. A good name to have News Limited on your CV even if C1 was an ordinary brand.

Cons

You can’t polish a terd as they say. The product was just rotten. The only was was to sell dreams to clients in a tight market where they needed to advertise other than just on Seek or LinkedIn! The hard part was keeping your recurring revenue going when the product didn’t deliver. People wouldn’t renew because it didn’t deliver and then it was harder to get rising targets off a low base. Management knew that but didn’t care. They hired young inexperienced sales fodder! Better off to sell a Job Pack 100 than a CountDown 50 for your commissions. When the top Dev team members and Product managers left it was time to bail.
