Pros

Good money at times. Great warehouse facility. A good pro for everyone else in flooring is the Call greed gives every other company a better than good chance at beating them. Theyd rather stock product move it seemingly

Cons

An upper management who knows nothing about successful culture in fact everyone makes eachother life harder. Training staff is near impossible due to store staffing limitations which leaves managers tied down constantly. Due too greed. Staff at call are lied too by there management about there competitiveness in the marketplace. Similar to North Korea. Rugs are stocked in shops at huge prices taking up 30% of the realestate in most shops. Most have been there for 5yrs or more due to the huge internal margin. The shops are run down and crappy because the boss is too tight to dress them up. All of there products have a cheap reality too them. Thinner carpet. Random length rustic timber. Etc. There managers will lie to unknowing jnr staff and say iit's thicker or the best. The reality is Carpet Call is about making 1 man filthy rich. And he hasn't been too Qld to visit his multi million dollar biz in over a decade. They claim buying power but that's not for the consumer to benefit from its for the total greed of one. In fact you will find at calls retail cost most opposition retailers are at 20% profit. Carpet call had 2 xmas party's in the 5+ yrs I was there. Experienced is not Ness as are according to upper management and owner. Its a bit of a worry for what customer base they still have at call. Going nowhere fast!
