Soul sucking position with no room for growth in a timely manner
Pros
-They will occasionally do company wide events, and at least try to minimally engage employees, to keep up the facade of 'boosting morale' - They have managed to snag some very amazing human beings. -The lower level employees are almost worth the horrible senior management style
Cons
- Managers hire their entire families to work in different departments, with no experience needed. It is not WHAT you know, it is WHO you know. - Hard-work is not rewarded by anything other than micromanaging and a blanket company wide 'cost of living raise' of 2%. This is after you go through a pointless review with your manager. Cherish this, this may be the only positive recognition you will receive from upper mgmt that is even remotely personal. - Absolutely no consistency department wide, that includes the enforcement of policies. - HR is about the least approachable people I have ever met, with about the most negative energy possible. -More concerned about filling a seat, than filling a seat with the right person these days, a huge change from when I first started with the company. - No room for promotion, new positions are RARELY opened up and when they are it is a position created for a person in mind already. - Not a good position for a self starter, or person who thinks independently. -Dress code is not upheld consistently among employees, one person will be targeted for one thing one day and the next if another person does something similar it is okay. Not to mention the weird aisle checks HR makes you suffer through to check if you are wearing appropriate clothing. -Adults are not treated like adults and held accountable for their actions, like sleeping on the job for a few months with every manager and employee painfully aware it is happening.
