Pros

The have medical benefits and you get 8% discount off of homes and employees also get 50% off of model homes' furniture and décor before the public does.

Cons

The Houston office is a corporate office which they don't disclose in the interview. They're very disorganized. Scanned files in the computer are not named so you have to click over 75 files to find the one you need and if it's not there, then you have to call the vendor. That's not time efficient. They don't have the time to train you properly since it's a "fast pace environment" and will tell you that they don't have time to answer your questions.

Pros

Base pay is good and you get raises quickly if you are doing good work they don't wait to give you raises like other companies. Bonus per house is great. There is a lot of money you can make if you build fast and the Home owners are happy.

Cons

There needs to be a change made with upper management. Understandable that this is the housing market and you have to move fast but if the support isn't there then people break. Not enough construction managers, they pile on a lot of houses to one person and if you don't keep up they blame you and don't think it might be because of the amount of houses. Be prepared to work Saturdays Every thing is written out for payroll. They do not have buildpro. This is a huge problem!!!

Pros

all 3 owners are nice guys the issue is they trust their good ol boy friends to run their business. Mid level managers Are not good.

Cons

Management belittles publicly, expect Saturday work every weekend, management won't take responsibility for their own mistakes. Managers like to play games and stir up drama between employees. Everything is all bout reports instead of results. They fudge reports and praise the suck ups. Main office doesn't know what a correct PO is. This is the worst employer I have ever had.
