Pros

Brand prestige. Warm people and culture. Interesting market within the energy industry, if you like politics. Benefits. Work & life balance. Mentorship. Traditional 125 years-old company with big openness to innovation e.g. towards digital & circularity. Knowledge sharing and formation channels within bigger bp group. Ideal employer if you seek stability in a role.

Cons

Not many likeminded people. Internal bureaucracy requires patience. Their WoW makes sense, on occasions. Requires you to be very communicative - not always easy to win trust. Slow progression prospects if your priority or need is to grow professionally.

Lack of leadership strategy

Pros

Good benefits, prestigious brand, equal opportunities

Cons

Leadership not setting a clear vision, constantly shifting strategy depending on who wants to make a name for themselves, recently reduced headcount without reducing workload.
