Pros
- Great culture - Friendly staff - Benefits! - Normal hours - Free beer This is a great place to get into the industry and learn what you need to know about beer. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The best manager I've ever had was here, and Cavalier is a great step in the door for the industry.
Cons
- Nepotism - Poor upper management - Makes promises they can't keep - Little PTO, no holidays, no time-and-a-half - Poor communication - Little upward movement - Poor pay, no raises The biggest concern is upper management. There are issues going on behind the scenes within the leadership team that impact employees negatively. Communication is very poor and everyone has too much on their plate to run things efficiently. They work like a much larger company with far fewer people, though they can't seem to pay anyone else to help lighten the load. You can't depend on the promise of getting a raise or being promoted, as it likely will never happen.
