My career has not been too diverse and been working for only a few different work places and therefore I am not going to give good comparison against other places, but I understand the pain of slow progress by staying in one location for a long-time. CEO and COO in Caxton Associates are not shy of recognising the contribution made to the team, from my previous job I have been accustomed to either pay rise or promotion (given at the expense of smaller bonus) but in Caxton Associates I feel that when a good contribution is made they are not shy to promoting individual to the next level. I can see there are lots of negative comments but I feel that management in Caxton Associates will give individual a huge amount of freedom where one is never questioned for anything but in return they expect results to be delivered. Firm is willing to give out many different opportunities even when it isn't your comfort zone, however I feel this widens ones ability and explore different things in business.
