Pros

Good technical knowledge gained and great co-workers.

Cons

Some of senior leadership are unwilling to work collaboratively and simply treat you as labor. Micromanaging every tiny detail far too excessively and are unwilling to learn new methods towards design. Poor compensation and expect to work a lot of extra hours needlessly without overtime.

Pros

The office is a nice sized, boutique firm. Priorities and culture can be identified as high-design with challenging projects, usually intensive schedules and work loads but with lots of responsibilities, and a pipeline with many projects. The people, peer level and upper management, are great to work with - they are serious but enjoy what they do.

Cons

The office's project load is amazingly deep and is constantly staying that way. Schedule and work load is intense, which has its benefits, but can also make a work-life balance a little more challenging to maintain.
