Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Change Recruitment Group full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great location, some hard working and ethical people onboard, commission scheme was OK, working flexibility as don't really care what you do (because management don't)
Cons
Your 'face has to fit', work ethic is irrelevant and not valued, the Management and McFall (not sure what he actually does) are bullies

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Change Recruitment Group full-time for more than a year
Pros
I worked for Change for 18 months as a consultant within accountancy and finance perm. It’s a great place for experienced consultants to work in a truly grown-up environment. You are 100 per cent accountable for your desk and it has a real franchise feel to it. The markets they cover are long established recruitment markets and if you are prepared to grit your teeth and play the long game there is the opportunity to make great money. Aside from earning potential one aspect that makes the company great is the leadership. Working in other recruitment companies leadership roles tended to go to those who could bill a lot but might be lacking in people management and leadership, change has avoided this well. The management style from likes of Mark Wilson, Ibi Kabir, Mark McFall and Gordon Hutchison is far superior to what I have experienced elsewhere. They all have a “No nonsense” approach to recruitment and will actively coach/train if you are potentially not hitting the mark.
Cons
A bit of a “we have always done it this way” approach to work processes, technology. Could do with improving their systems to bring them in line with the competition, also could easily automate a lot of their compliance processes to reduce paperwork.
