Cons

Poor bonus/pay structure, constantly lied to, zero structure, NO management/poor management of employees, ZERO functioning HR department, poor IT department, constant change of procedures with no communication to employees, zero accountability amongst employees and management alike, favoritism, no child care assistance, no paid maternity leave, hostile work environment, no boundaries, inappropriate comments from staff and management, awards poor work behaviors, zero (zilch) praise from management to employees, raises are only awarded once a year (and are subject to change, meaning they are not obligated to give you one), poor starting pay rate, zero cost of living raises, job can be performed fully remote, however management will STRONGLY and in a threatening nature pressure workers to come in DESPITE transportation constraints (eg: poor weather, car issues, no public transit due to poor office location), empty promises to employees, computers from 2 decades ago, company will up starting pay without compensation for current employees, fear/intimidation tactics.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and are committed to improving our work environment based on the insights you've provided. We're glad to hear that you enjoy the flexibility, job security, and benefits we offer, including time off and free food on Tuesdays. These are only a handful of the collection of benefits that are part of working with ChartSquad, and we believe they are important aspects of creating a positive work-life balance. That said, we're sorry to hear about your concerns. We take each one seriously. Some, already have solutions you may be unaware of, and others are not generally practiced in the United States at all, but clearly, there are a few areas we can certainly do better…And we will! Let’s touch on each point. The most important thing is for you to communicate your concerns to us in as much detail as possible, so we are aware. Pay Structure and Bonuses: We're always exploring ways to improve our bonus system to better reward our hard-working team. We have spent time ensuring we have a structure that rewards those who perform their duties as set out, as well as bonuses for those who overperform. Most importantly, when we developed the remuneration packages for all positions, we opted to create a pay structure that is significantly higher than the average for the state. We urge you to discuss any concerns with your manager in case there have been any oversights we have not been made aware of during our frequent reviews. Management and Communication: We are updating and reinforcing the hierarchical structure and communications channels to ensure everyone can focus on and apply their considerable skillsets to the challenges and daily workloads presented. Management has already been informed of the channels of communication that need to be followed as part of this resolution. We know this has been a challenge and we accept that things need to change. This is not an overnight fix, but please be assured that it is a high priority. HR Department: We understand the importance of a dedicated HR team. This is something we have in place via the PEO services we have in place to support all staff and provide our comprehensive benefits package to all staff. This is detailed in onboarding, and we urge you to make use of this resource at any time you feel the need. IT Department: Our IT department is part of a national technical support company and the team that works with us on IT services, solutions, and equipment are a great bunch who we have not had complaints about to date. The guys do a great job on all other accounts but please raise any issues in detail with your manager; we cannot fix what we don’t know about! Work Environment: We're committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. We're reinforcing policies to address inappropriate behavior and ensure everyone feels valued and respected. Recognition: We have increased pay for those who over-deliver and there is already a bonus system in place but we’ll ensure this is part of our service improvement reviews. Ensuring everyone feels rewarded for their hard work is essential to us, and we want to make sure the ‘work to live’ ethos is maintained. Pay is a direct reflection of experience, getting the job done, performance, and the types of duties being performed. Maternity Leave and Child Care Assistance: We do provide job protection for any maternity leave that needs to be taken. No one risks losing their job because of building their family! Childcare assistance is something that small businesses like ChartSquad find almost impossible to put in place without taking things away from other areas. Not many companies can support this type of benefit. We are, however, aware of how difficult it can be to juggle family and work life; this is why we allow parents to bring their kids into the office – it IS a massive childcare center on some days! Also, the expansion of remote work opportunities means there is more flexibility in place for people to look after their kids and work. As you know, we just want the work to get done, that’s all. Remote Work: As above, we understand the importance of flexibility, especially in challenging times. We're working on clear guidelines for remote work to ensure everyone feels supported, whether they're in the office or working from home. Some staff flourish in work-from-home mode, others have had more challenges and we address this on a case-by-case basis. We ALWAYS make accommodations for people when there are weather problems that make it tough to get to work and we allow anyone with car problems the time to get their vehicle fixed so they can get back on the roads again. Also, we would urge you to review the local public transport maps and schedules, as there are multiple options when it comes to the transport used to get into the office if you are designated as an in-office staff member. We're grateful for your advice to management and are committed to doing better. We believe in continuous improvement and your feedback is invaluable in this process. We're confident that these changes will create a more positive and productive work environment for everyone at ChartSquad. Thank you again for your feedback.

Thank you for your feedback. We value your input and are committed to making improvements based on your insights. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the flexible schedule and paid vacation time we offer. We believe these benefits, among a raft of others, are crucial in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. However, we're sorry to hear about your concerns and we take them very seriously. Let's address each one: HR Department: We understand the importance of a dedicated HR team. As mentioned in our previous response, we have a PEO service in place to support all staff and provide our comprehensive benefits package. We encourage you to utilize this resource whenever necessary. We are also in the process of reinforcing our policies to ensure that all privileged information remains confidential. Work Environment: We're committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. We're reinforcing policies to address inappropriate behavior and ensure everyone feels valued and respected. We're sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience and we're taking steps to address this. Structure: We're working on reinforcing our hierarchical structure and communication channels to ensure everyone can focus on their roles and responsibilities effectively. We understand that this has been a challenge and we're making it a priority to improve. Pay: We pay well above the average for the state, specific to the roles we employ at ChartSquad. We also provide raises and bonuses for people who carry out their jobs and for those who overperform. Experience, scope of deliverables, type of role, and getting the job done are all things that we frequently review while making sure base pay is competitive. We appreciate your advice to management. We're committed to doing better and your feedback is invaluable in this process. We're confident that these changes will create a more positive and productive work environment for everyone at ChartSquad. Thank you again for your feedback.

Hey, there. Thank you so much for the positive review. We're glad that we make the environment pleasing to work in - people first, every time. We are sorry that your experience with the pay structure side wasn't as positive. We're growing and we certainly don't get everything right, but we are trying and every little piece of feedback like this helps us to do better. Thank you!
