Solid Company to Work For

Pros

Laid Back Atmosphere Schedule is Flexible Friendly Management Overall I enjoy working at CDL. It's not a place that you build a lifelong career out of because the opportunities to move up are rare. Nonetheless, the people here are all very chill and it's nice working at a place where you don't have people breathing down your neck or micromanaging time. As long as you do your work in a timely manner, you'll always be in the clear. During the busy months, management springs for lunches, snacks, soda, etc.

Cons

The work is finite and so during the non busy times of the year they cut shifts down a few hours pending the arrival of new work. Outside of that, I have no complaints!

Pros

If you have the eyes and ears for noticing abnormalities within a programs audio and video presentation or can logically find your way around the most complex of Blu-ray disc menus than work as a Quality Control Technician at Check Disc Labs can be a solid and rewarding job opportunity. The company has an often relaxed and comfortable work environment. With opportunities both on-site and off-site, the variety of projects can keep things feeling fresh and less stagnant. Work expectations are quite high but if you are up to the task and have the skills to back it up than QC work at CDL is for you.

Cons

The work is seasonal and can prove to be difficult if you are looking for consistent work. However, if you are looking for flexibility this can work in your favor.

Pros

If someone appreciates noticing errors or oddities the quality control work at CDL can be a solid job. The work environment is often comfortably casual, but when it comes to the work tasks themselves expectations are high.

Cons

The work is seasonal, due to the specific industry, which can be more difficult to manage for non-Management employees.
