Pros
The industry that Chemex operates in is fairly exciting and the global landscape surrounding it can be challenging to navigate (in a good way). There is a lot to be learned within the company and plenty of opportunity to absorb and educate yourself.
Cons
Upon close examination, you will see an almost incestuous nepotism abound within the company, with key decisions being made arbitrarily and not for the betterment of the company or its staff. The longevity of the company is in serious jeopardy as all the professionals who were hired to help bring the company to the next level have either left or are in the process of leaving. Pay can be misleading as the company pays a supposed 75% of fair market value for each employee with a "promise" of possible bonuses that "could" double a person's salary. The problem therein is that the sales of the company are so random that bonuses are paid on a very erratic basis.
