I have been working at Cohn & Wolfe full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are great opportunities to progress.
It genuinely is a supportive, caring, fun & creative team
    Benefits are amazing

    Cons

Nature of agency life means there are times when you need to work a bit later but this is not encouraged by senior staff.

I have been working at Cohn & Wolfe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, talented people who are aspired to achieve the best. Friendly CEO and practice leads.

    Cons

Long hours, with very or little work life balance. Sometimes obvious favouritism which needs to be ironed out.

    Advice to Management

Although its PR, it shouldn't be required that an individual has to PR themselves - notice those who go unnoticed on a day to day

I have been working at Cohn & Wolfe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good culture, where people mostly share knowledge and experience with others. Less political than other similar agencies. The CEO and the MD for UK office are absolutely lovely people and very approachable, which trickles down to the rest of the company.

    Cons

Depending on the team you are, you´ll find different levels of hierarchy and freedom to do your work as you think is best.

    Advice to Management

There´s a massive hemorrage of talented people at the manager level - you should value these people´s concerns before it´s too late and they decide to move on.

Great people, good social environment too. Clients are varied and there is no division of practices. Client teams assigned based on experience.

    Cons

sometime there can be long hours, but what do you expect in PR.

    Advice to Management

Continue to showcase and praise everyone in the company

Impressive growth over the last 3 years
Strong commitment to digital and social

    Pros

Good chance to develop new skills and learn about the marketing industry.

    Cons

As a new starter I don't have an opinion on downsides of C & W. But so far it seems as a motivating company with motivated employees.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Culture, friendly environment, adults treating you like adults, interesting work, good work-life balance, little internal politics, good benefits, excellent clients.

    Cons

Annoying internal admin processes like staff planning - boring. It's such a great place to work but for some reason that's not really well known in the industry. Let's spread the word!

    Advice to Management

Iron out the internal admin processes - the rest is great though.

I worked at Cohn & Wolfe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Variety of interesting and creative work with input from all levels (especially juniors) encouraged, positive and collaborative atmosphere, motivational managers and intelligent people, lots of opportunity for juniors, some variety of training and openness to feedback from all levels, and good benefits!

    Cons

Poor quality and slow management processes (concerns not addressed promptly), some favouritism and improper relationships between individuals and little-to-no work life balance (even though an appropriate work life balance is encouraged) due to ineffective resourcing (despite best efforts)

    Advice to Management

Value your employees and resource appropriately
