Pros
The manager was pretty good at giving people time off when requested. The pay was very good for a lifeguard.
Cons
Some people seemed to get their schedules catered to them by the manager. If certain people wanted to only work the morning shift, they were given the morning shift all summer. This led to many people who did not like the afternoon shift being forced to work it almost every single day. The afternoon/evening shift was so hot and exhausting!
