Pros

Location Free Parking Global looks good on a resume McCann looks good on a resume Most people are gone by 4:30 (because no one cares)

Cons

Lacks process and team structure Lacks purpose (from clients and leadership) No Transparency Lack of advancement opportunities No reasoning behind pay or titles It Is not uncommon to hear misogynistic, homophobic or racist comments/jokes being said by both agency personnel and clients. Work is meaningless and often gets killed Creative and strategy is “vanilla” at best Global clients have no power and no marketing experience Leadership is nonexistent Blame and fear culture, your job will be threatened weekly Nothing you do here will prepare you for any other job you may get in the future. This agency gives Michigan a bad name. Most people who have worked on global, had such a bad experiences, they ended up leaving the state of Michigan all together. A lot of people get screwed over by HR when they leave The most unhappy Environment I have ever had the displeasure of working in!

Pros

Paid time off, benefits, candy machines, downtown Detroit, SOME of the people.

Cons

Terrible leadership over the creative department. If you can even call it leadership. The people that are hard working, talented, and overall good people to work for get no respect and continue to get stepped on by privileged, unprofessional, mentally abusive, and irrational upper management. It is complete chaos on the creative floor. No supervision whatsoever. People can basically do what they want with no repercussions and no one holding them accountable for their actions. If you are a smart and talented woman, RUN! They hate that there. Also a lot of scandalous things that happen around the office that HR knows about but no one talks about. If you are immorally corrupt and have no sense of self worth or credibility of being a semi decent person, then this is the place for you.
