Pros

The people I worked with were amazing. Some had their bad days but so doesn't everyone else. The atmosphere was catchy. Free coffee

Cons

Management at one of the offices is average at best. The amount of degrading that went on behind closed doors was truly remarkable. If you have thick skin and can handle your manager calling you names behind your back I would work here in a heart beat. I understand everyone has different management skills but kicking people while they are down, having little to NO structure when someone is struggling, to then proceed to make fun saying things under your breath while the others in the office can hear you, well, that is just flat out wrong.

Pros

It is a good opportunity for recent grads or a career change. No experience is needed to learn recruiting. This however is not specific to this agency. Many staffing agencies would hire and train entry level individuals.

Cons

They use a bait and switch model. The selling points they use when hiring are flexibility, capability to work remote, ability use this privilege as needed, promotes work life balance, and manager explicitly states that they are not a micromanager. They are in fact the most intense micromanager I have ever experienced. The lack of self awareness from management is shocking. The culture of the company promotes anxiety and does not cultivate trust. Managers expect employees to share everything, including details of their personal life, while managers don’t even let their teams know when they are taking a day off. Management treats adults like children, and takes measures to belittle and manipulate employees. Managers also choose to bully and intimidate individuals when they are unhappy with performance or behavior, rather than discussing the issue in a professional manner. Rules are made up on the fly, and toxic and inappropriate habits are cultivated by the company’s misaligned values. They also hold various employees to differing rules and standards. Favoritism is evident. The environment is toxic to the point that it makes employees act out of character, likely due to the immense strain on their mental health. My time at this company made me seriously consider taking my own life.

Pros

One great Recruiting Manager and an excellent HR. Birthday cake and ice cream.

Cons

No bonus structure, commission is hard to get. Everyone is working on the same thing and the majority are low end roles with little to no markup. Company moral is awful and there is constant bad mouthing of/by/for every member of the company.
