I worked at CQ for 2 years. During my time there I saw over 200 years of experience leave the building, 3 major layoffs, a multiple shifts in upper management and more than half the jobs shipped over to China. If CQ is hiring, it is most definitely for a short-term and an immediate need. Once the project is over, you can bet on being laid off. In good conscious, I cannot recommend this employer to anyone. I sincerely doubt ConQuip will be in business in the next two years.

If you work here (which I don't know why you would, just read the other reviews, they are accurate) I highly suggest documenting EVERYTHING, getting EVERYTHING in writing not verbal, KNOWING your Labor Laws & what your rights are and, watch your back, always. As others said, you will be promised certain things and never delivered. The company culture is HORRENDOUS even though they now say they are trying to change it. DON'T work overtime unless you makes sure you are compensated appropriately for it. This company does not have a good industry reputation, it is known for making a lot of changes, often. My advice is to just find another place .. especially if you are younger professional just starting their career and are wanting a fun, good, respectful workplace that is rewarding.
