Pros

It’s a fun industry to be in. The team in the UK are nice. You are given opportunities to develop new skills. Opportunity to work fully remote is nice.

Cons

Very poor management, as is expected in a start up run by people with only a few years work experience. Absolutely no progression. Most people work 10 hour days. The culture isn’t fantastic, it’s not very social mainly because they all work so late. The pay is ridiculously low. There is a lot of friction between the teams. There is a major lack of praise or appreciation for people’s work. Most people are pretty miserable or stressed.

While in the past we've had periods with increased workload to deal with rush hours, we can guarantee that the workload has strongly decreased since, thanks to common efforts across the board. In Operations and Sales particularly, we are now able to closely monitor data related to order management, so as to plan teams and processes according to the expected incoming work - which we've received positive feedback on. We've also highly invested in Management and Feedback Trainings as well as People processes to ensure teams get regular feedback, appreciation, personal development and - when applicable - opportunities for internal mobility and promotions.
