Pros

Friendly people and fantastic benefits! CITC has many departments, which means there are many different careers that could be chosen from when applying for CITC. The company's main goal is to support Alaskan Native and American Indian lives as much as possible by providing jobs, sustenance, and services. This is incredible to me due to the fact that we live and strive on their land.

Cons

Quite the hierarchy here so difficult to growth once you've reached a certain position. It may take years to get promoted or even a slight chance you never will.

Pros

Everyone is driven in their support of the organization's goal and believes in the work. Leadership understands that to offer the best work and service, staff must have a healthy work/life balance. All coworkers I've had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with have been kind and helpful. This has been my favorite place to work and had my most favorite coworkers! There's is so much opportunity for everyone here and our participants, it's incredibly fulfilling work.

Cons

Remote work flexibility is severely lacking and will affect amount of incoming quality candidates unless improvements are made. As with any organization that has large growth in a short amount of time, communication and other growing pains are being worked out. It helps me to view as an opportunity to practice patience, grace and readiness. Pay is typically close to market standards, but market standards currently aren't great all around.
