    Where i work within the university is a good place to work, people are friendly and the pay is good

    Pros

    Innovative organisation to provide up to date methods and a global voice to students. Strong focus on the global graduate.

    Cons

    Fast paced environment with poor leadership at the high and mid levels. Staff development is haphazard. Basic training such as Excel is no longer provided.

    Give staff training and Excel and avoid shturmovshchina

    My own department was great, with colleagues who were passionate
    Management were generally friendly
    Students are genuinely hard workers, most of whom are very sweet and eager to learn

    Cons

    MAnagement drafted in from other sites
    Incompetent admissions staff
    Rude operations staff
    Some students lack a basic grasp of English

    Advice to Management

    Stop focusing on creating new sites and start investing money in lower-ranking staff who are student facing
    STOP CALLING STUDENTS 'CUSTOMERS'
