Pros

Mentor Program was strong. The CTO is fantastic, I would work with him anywhere!

Cons

Pay and benefits were not competitive. The CEO was often a hot-head. They did not handle non-performers but let people go who were high performers :(

Pros

There is no shortage of incredibly smart people that work at Coveros and they are all very easy to work with and you learn something new every day. Also, Coveros looks to hire long-term employees that will stay with the company from contract to contract. Employment is not typically tied directly to a particular customer. In other words if the contract you are on ends, you are highly unlikely to lose your job and Coveros will look to place you on another contract. I believe this increases employee morale and a commitment on the part of employees to making the company better

Cons

As a consultant you are working primarily with your customer and not all customers are easy to work with. While Coveros itself is a flat organization and has little red tape this is not the case for all customers and some customer processes can be frustrating. That said, Coveros as a company does a wonderful job of supporting its staff, even in the face of challenging customers. You are never left alone to fend for yourself.
