How to destroy a company culture inside 12-months
Pros
- Fully remote working which is attractive to some - Still a lot of good, talented people
Cons
- Chaotic, unimpressive leadership lacking clear direction which filters throughout the company - Almost constant change at senior leadership level, with big salaried hires coming on-board to fanfare, and then being ushered out the backdoor! - Unrealistic expectations of growth from owners who simply want to grow and sell the org - Awful internal communications and totally siloed teams environment - Moral of most employees close to or on the floor - even new starters quickly become dejected and/or jaded - Cost cutting to the max - letting lots of good, talented people go and leaving those still in place to figure out the rest as best as they can! - Practically zero opportunities for employees to be together F2F if they don't live close to one or two locations across the globe - So, no joined-up or collegiate sense working across the org
