      Elephant in the room

      Pros

      - Free breakfast  - Canteen  - Most people there are brilliant, supportive, and good fun - The CEO is smart, empathetic and all round a great leader, but sadly she is moving on. Some of the other top management are ok too, but they are very North America focussed, and a backwater like Europe gets little attention.

      Cons

      London management. The MD is constantly trashing literally everyone else in the office, despite the fact that everyone works their butts off and generally know what they are doing. So all you can think is: when I have left the room, what is being said about me? This makes for a soul-destroying environment, and no wonder so many people have left. Despite the MD's ability to never have a good word for anyone, it is hard to get any actual constructive feedback to your face, so it's not even possible to develop.  Also they expect you to work early, late, and travel at the drop of a hat. God forbid you request or need any sort of time away from work.

      One of the worse places I've ever worked

      Pros

      Some nice people and a good office location

      Cons

      Bad atmosphere and lack of experience means it's the blind leading the blind. Management in the UK are pathetic, childish and have no experience. Don't waste your time, there are lots of better options than working here.

      Thank you for taking the time to respond - and I'm sorry you didn't have the experience you expected when working at CM. We always want our employees to find CM a place to be a place where they can build their career, do good work, and work with great people. Our London office is unique in respect to its growth - we've doubled our number of employees there in the last year which is exciting but can lead to some challenges in terms of experience, culture, etc. One of the ways we're meeting those challenges is with our London leadership - our Managing Director and local leads are the right people in place to support the team and help us grow even further.       Talentless sociopaths abound

      Pros

      There used to be free cooked breakfast, then COVID happened. Loads of lovely people there who got turned into bitter husks.

      Cons

      Terrible MD, no ability to delegate, doesn't trust the people she hires to do there jobs, doesn't allow the people she hires to do their jobs. Will take praise when things go well and blame everyone else when things go wrong. That flows down to a back-stabby environment. Multiple staff burning out and having to take time out/go on meds. This place will work you like a dog then blame you for breaking. More than 50% of the staff left in the short time I worked there. Senior management completely blind as to who the one single constant is in the absolute shambles that is the London office.
