Pros

There aren't many. It was flexible. Thats about it.

Cons

I had been wanting to leave a review for some time now, but it wasn't until I was made aware of the most recent review that I thought I'd share my experience at Croft. There is definitely something to what a previous review stated about the women hired in the office. I had only been there a short while before I noticed how one female member of the staff got preferential treatment. After some time had passed, I got the courage to ask someone else if they noticed this too. They did. There are other things I noticed as well. It didn't matter how well you did your job, if you didn't do it the way they liked you would become a target and get talked down to. They change their minds so often that it makes your job so much more difficult. Croft is not a pleasant place to work. It got so bad that I would dread coming to work. In the short time I was there I saw some very good people come and go. That is not how you achieve long term success.

Pros

Great hours and work schedule plus benefits

Cons

Office personnel is very "clicky" if you do not fit in with them they will get rid of you. This company has the biggest turn around. You are lucky to make it past your 90 probationary period.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and especially lining out the pros with great hours and work schedules and benefits. I am sorry that it did not work on the team but I wish that you elaborated on the whole story. The company turnaround for long-term employees is low for the industry average but we are very critical of the probationary period in protecting the company culture. If the team sees that you are not trying it is the team, not the manager that will be the harshest critic because we are on a mission. We tried to support you in this role when we found out that you did not have the experience that you stated in the interview and on your resume. We extended your probation to allow you to receive more training in these areas so that you would be more confident in your role. We can only meet halfway but we needed you to put in some effort to bridge the gap. Office personnel being "clicky" is they probably felt more uncomfortable with the things that you were saying and sharing. We spoke to you about this and this is not the platform to be sharing those conversations but we do feel that teammates need to act in a professional manner. We do hope you found a company that fits your life goals.

Pros

The cons outweigh the Pros

Cons

Doesn’t care about customers just looking to make money. Absolutely no integrity. Toxic work culture. Owner gaslights and has no backbone when confronted. Likes to stir the pot and create unnecessary drama among the team playing she said/she said and sits back and watches*gaslighting. Has his advisor threaten people’s jobs. No open communication Doesn’t care about employees. Only hires attractive or young girls with no experience to be around him at the office. If you have an opinion, suggestion to better the company, or know what your doing, you’re a threat and immediately starts treating you differently pushing you out. Nepotism * Nepotism *Nepotism Revolving door of new hires I’ve ever seen in my life. Worst job ever. Don’t waste your time. Just read the petty comments the owner writes back on here. His unprofessionalism shines through.

Thank you for writing this review and sharing your experiences. We hate to hear about some of your experiences because it is not what we want for our team members. CROFT absolutely cares about its customers because if it were not for them there would be no business. We like to think that profitability is the byproduct of good systems and a great team so if you focus on those you have a profitable company. The review mentions “only hire attractive or young girls” or “Nepotism,” which is dismissive of the staff we have. They were not given this job, they were given an opportunity and have earned it every day. Our intention is to make CROFT the best place you have ever worked. Thank you again for your insight. It helps us make CROFT a better company for everyone. Good luck with your next venture!
