Where do I start😭 In all my years of working, this is the only job I have left without sustaining any meaningful relationship or even desire to. I started this job with high hopes and expectations due to the prospects and development ideas that was sold to me at the interview. The team was in its infancy and I thought I could make a real mark and experience progression. This led to years of hard work laying the foundation for my area. In my last year there, I was simply overworked and had little energy or desire to participate in extras. I would wake up with anxieties about going to work but I remained optimistic because I thought it was part of the growing pains of an underdeveloped organisation. Most people there were always too busy to have any real collaboration or not feel like you were pestering them. It soon became obvious that I could no longer sacrifice my health and peace of mind with no real prospect of promotion. I found one of the Execs to be quite overbearing. On my last day, I worked till past 6pm. The most underwhelming last day I've ever had in any organisation.
