A good fit if you have the right owners
Pros
Cool concept for a business. They are trying to be innovative and cater to a market that’s in demand. The concept really does cater to all athletes of all levels and there are some big opportunities to make money.
Cons
In all honesty I was actually quite relieved when me and this facility cut ties. I’ve been in the smaller studio fitness industry for awhile now and had some great success. It Really depends on the owners. My owners had no business experience and also no fitness experience in general. They didn't know what needed to be delegated or the ins and outs of the logistics of running a facility and assumed that people were just going to flood the gates and employees would come in ready with minimal training. On top of that, outside of me, they just hired their friends who they were comfortable with even though they could only work weird hours and not what the facility needed. On top of all that they were control freaks who were very awkward to be around. Now, there are 2 sides to every story and I’m not writing this saying I was perfect by any means but it was a very disappointing experience at a place that could be a great asset to the community.
