Pros

I’ve been with DRPG for a number of years and genuinely enjoy working here. It’s a fast paced, ambitious environment where you’re expected to perform, but that comes with real opportunities to grow and be part of something that is constantly evolving. One thing that stands out is how the business responds under pressure. When conditions are tough, there’s a real sense of focus and momentum. The leadership team is experienced in navigating those periods and provides clear direction, which creates confidence and stability when it’s needed most. There are some very talented people across the business and when teams are aligned, the energy and standard of work are excellent. Senior leadership is visible and invested in the future of the company, which gives a strong sense of purpose.

Cons

Like any business, it won’t be the right fit for everyone. It’s a high expectation environment and you do need to work hard, particularly during busy periods. That said, there’s also a strong social side to the business and a good team culture when things are going well. As we continue to grow, consistency in communication and ways of working across teams can still improve.

Pros

- Great people - Fun culture - Nice offices

Cons

So many people struggled with a particular Head of department and the team, ultimately, crumbled. There were many complaints about their behaviour and the lack of anything done Ensured the time were tired, anxious and all left. It can often be a very catty environment with hierarchical views in which most people want to look good but not actually do good work.

Pros

Got along well with the majority of people within digital and some of the wider company. Some great people there.

Cons

We were told once by our director “if you don’t like overtime this isn’t the place for you”. This was said after many members of the digital team raised concerns over working 12/14 hour days (sometimes 7 days a week) for months on end. There was time off in lieu, but often with so many time sensitive projects on you could never get the time off when you needed it. People in the department including myself became drained, tired, depressed, overworked and worse yet the senior leadership team under the surface just did not care. Nothing changed. Ultimately the pay and the affect on work/life balance + the attitude of senior staff made staying absolutely pointless. I managed to find a role where my pay doubled and I work within set hours (9/5) it’s still within a thriving and interesting business, and overtime is a rarity at best.
