There is absolutely no pro's

Cons

Benefits are horrible Pay is horrible They will force you to do things that are not in your job description and things that security officers should not be doing such as fixing things like boilers. They show favoritism to certain officers and if you question and or bring this up they will Suspend and terminate you. Supervisors are untrained and inexperienced There is no HR and if you have a problem with a supervisor they will terminate you Uniforms are given to you stained and dirty from previous owners and are cheap. Patches easily tear off and are seamed cheaply. Do not work for them period.

This job starts you at entry level. You do not need a security clearance certificate, or anything of that nature to hold this job. Hours working at DSI are a hit or miss. It all depends on location, and how many people quit at a certain time.

Cons

No matter how much you devote to your job at DSI. You are just a number to corporate. You do not matter besides filling contacts that demand a warm or cold body. Don't look into this job full time if you need medical insurance or 401k. They only offer just the minimum coverage, so they can sneak by laws for full time employees.

Job sites are pretty much easy to work

Cons

They do not support their officers in regards to certain issues such as racism. They do not follow nor support their own motto "Do what you say you wold do". they never properly investigate reports or complaints. They say that they never go off of here say, but that is not true. They always believe everything that is reported to them without a proper investigation.
