Pros

You get to accelerate your career and talk to senior folks in some of the best tech companies on the planet. young culture fun people to work with

Cons

For starters, there is no work-life balance. Bosses constantly overwork and overload staff of all levels, especially entry level. Working 12+ hours days is a regular occurrence and you are expected to be responsive on nights and weekends no matter what. Sundays you are expected to at least put in 2 or 3 hours of work. Management claims to watch out for your mental health but it is far from the truth. Mental health month included extra mandatory trainings AND HOMEWORK followed by other events that just took up more time and you couldn't actually do your work. Forcing you to make it up during the little free time you have from your personal life. Turnover at the bottom levels is also incredibly high because they don't pay people enough. I did the math and people in your first year at the firm you will barely make minimum wage because of all the extra time you are expected to put in on high stress searches where people don't want to take a job at a crappy company. The CEO will randomly promote people he works with so if you aren't in his inner circle or in his physical presence it's hard to get ahead. its a vicious cycle of people who are overworked, make it to the top, think since they made they can now do whatever and overload their people. it's like greek life hazing," I was treated like crap and I'm fine so now I get to do it too. " most of these reviews are fake... i was told to write reviews each time we try and hire. I currently have 2 fake review displayed on glassdoor. The firm idolizes people who throw their life out the window and just work. Shout outs for people giving up their social lives to close a candidate is the Koolaid that keeps the cycle continuing. recently they have stopped letting the firm know people quit or have been let go. They claim "DP fam" but aren't honest about how things are run. This included a partner who vanished into thin air with no explanation. How that is even remotely close to a family?
