      Constant firefighting, mistakes and huge staff departures

      Great people and interesting work Diverse product offering

      Cons

      Senior management have made a number of mistakes in the past 6 months, which has led to broken systems, lots of turnover and instability. There is constant firefighting and burnout across teams. Unfortunately a number of negative reviews have also been disappearing on Glassdoor (which has been noticed by staff) and is only adding to mistrust.

      Pros

      Excellent Facilitators, brilliant Data Mentors, hard working Programme Managers and a beautiful office space.

      Cons

      Constant operational changes leave staff feeling unsettled and overworked. The only way staff finds out someone has moved on or been let go is by a disgruntled Slack or team update message.

      Pros

      During my time at Decoded I received a lot of teacher training, amazing mentorship from my line manager (and from other colleagues), and experienced a warm and welcoming culture to many people with diverse backgrounds. Everyone at the company is kind and talented, the kind of people you want to be friends with outside of work too. The actual teaching was always really fun and engaging with amazing co-teachers and inspiring learners.

      None, I enjoyed all aspects of the work.
