WFH but challenging work setup

Business outlook

Pros

- Permanent Work-from-home setup - Wide variety of graphic design tasks, typically handling 3–4 different assignments per day. - Senior designers are generally approachable exept for some management.

Cons

- Workload can be overwhelming, with multiple tasks assigned simultaneously and often accompanied by unrealistic deadlines. - Limited time for creativity, we are expected to produce strong outputs within 2hrs per task or we will be questioned. - Even after completing assigned tasks for the day, employees are expected to proactively find additional work to fully utilize time which contributes to burnout. - Micromanagement can be excessive. - Overtime is officially not allowed, yet we are often expected to work beyond regular hours to meet urgent client demands, without additional compensation.

Pros

- Work from home arrangement. - Exposure to many different client projects helps you learn a lot. - As long as you complete your tasks, you generally won’t run into issues.

Cons

- Each ticket must show significant progress within just two hours. - If you can’t deliver strong progress within the 2 hour window, you’ll be questioned and closely monitored. - People work at different speeds, and the time expectations don’t always match that. - Some days are extremely busy, yet overtime isn’t allowed. - It would be better if employees could end their day once they’ve met the task quota and no more work is pending. - Work beyond your limits without proper acknowledgment or fair pay. - Forced leaves, limited benefits, and lack of bonuses.
