      Pros

      Good atmosphere within the team. Good place to start your career in IT support. Free drinks and snacks. Deltek offer good benefits.

      Cons

      Management is poor within the Customer Care team. Case load is too high. All analysts are on around 50-60 cases each and over worked. They hire new people who come in higher up (more money) with less experience, rather than promoting within the team. No support on how to progress at Deltek. Salary is awful and sometimes have to work long hours to meet targets.

      Good and supportive manager, Great office location, lot of opportunities to learn new skills, very professional colleagues, good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Sales team get highest importance, no fixed desk for services team, low salary compared to other colleagues and other professionals, salary not based on skills and talent, profit focussed management, no active HR in UK, very low benefits compared to other Deltek countries, bonus scheme is a joke, American culture, very limited company sponsored social events, employee feedback has no value, no overtime payment on weekdays, lack of communication between teams, very high workload and low compensation, outdated laptops and mobile phones, very rare growth opportunities.

      The best reasons for working at Deltek are the Salary and Benefits (Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Pension). The office location.

      Cons

      The downsides of working at deltek are the following: Zero support from Management and colleagues. No team spirit or collaboration. No consulting practice guidelines. Management and senior colleagueswill do not provide any performance feedback, whether positive or negative. I would strongly reccommend anyone considering joining Deltek UK to think twice as you will be on your own. The company has lost 5 consultants in the last 5 months, leaving a team of 2.
