Pros

Decent benefit package Some people there have years of good industry experience.

Cons

Management!!! Head in the skies, clueless to actual work and to the high school drama antics, unprofessional behavior of upper management at division. Paperwork to get job out the door. Done two or three times in different systems just to get to shop to rush out the door. Could care less about client and client relationships. More worried about charge out time (15 minute minimum) every time the client emailed or called with a small question. Employees threatened with job if not met, same employees are then attacked for charge out by client, sales reps and upper management when client complains. No win situation More worried about paperwork to get office supplies being filled out correctly and then questioned and lectured on why you need that toner cartridge or Pen for work?

Pros

Dedicated team members who do their best to compensate for out of date infrastructure and incompetent management and leadership.

Cons

HR ignores obvious hostilities in the workplace up to and including employees threatening physical violence on others and ignored by lower management. Management in the office is ignorant at best and shop management rules by fear and intimidation. This company operates at a level of 1999 technology and employs people who must do data entry multiple times in order to get anything done or into actual production. They do everything possible to ensure profit even at the cost of alienating employees and their dedicated work. There is complete disregard for employees who wish they could make a difference here and only employ raises as a negotiating factor in keeping those employees after they have had another offer from a competitor.

Employees certainly do matter. That is why we take reviews like this into consideration and use it to evaluate where we can do better, especially when it comes to employee wellbeing. I first want to address that Derse does not tolerate the type of workplace hostilities you described. Employees and management are responsible for assuring a safe workplace—and any reported misconduct would be grounds for disciplinary action. Had we known about your situation, we would have offered immediate support to address the situation. As for Derse’s technology, we too recognized the need to constantly evolve. In fact, we’re in the process of evaluating and launching a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that will maximize our productivity. Sincerely, Adam Beckett President & CEO

Pros

The travel was the only thing that helped out, mainly so I could get away from the office.

Cons

The management team is lost and have no idea how to cultivate a winning environment. They are 5 years behind on technology and do little to support their employees.
