Pros

The main thing that stands out about working at Designlab is the team. I've never felt so supported in regards to my professional growth, and it continues to be such a joy to work among a bunch of individuals who are all so enthusiastic about our mission and highly skilled in their area of expertise. Everyone's opinion matters and it's great to see individual ideas flow through the organization! As a remote organization, they try to create as much space for concentration time as possible, with meetings only held when needed. There are also lots of (virtual) social activities going on if people are keen, including a games hour, lunch & learn, craft club, watercooler, and book club. All in all, I have to say it's the best place I've ever worked!

Cons

As to be expected, we go through certain periods of growing pains due to being a startup that's starting to become a slightly larger company. It's great to see how everyone is willing to pitch in regardless, and that management is open to thoughts and opinions of how best to tackle situations along the way.
