I worked at Devon Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Nice physical office environment. Convenient location and resources available.

    Cons

Management puts employees last. Don’t seem to manage money well enough to actually keep people employed. Can’t make decisions in timely fashion; much more worried about documenting process than making progress. Emphasis is placed on title and who you know saves and promotes you, not skill.
