Pros

I've been looking at Glassdoor for a while today and it seems like every company review has some bulleted list with stuff like "friendly people", "great benefits", and/or "nerf guns". Well, if you're reading this and you're anything like me, then that probably isn't helpful. You're probably reading this like you would a review on ratemyprofessor.com or something like that. So I'll save you some time... if you're thinking about applying for a job at Digital Promise, then you should. It's as simple as that. Also, Digital Promise has a friendly staff and great benefits. I think Nerf Guns are dumb (does anyone really use those in their office?) so I'm glad there aren't any of those. We have a Makerspace. In my opinion, that's much better.

Cons

The salaries at Digital Promise are competitive (especially for a non-profit). But, It's still a non-profit, so... if you're in it for the money, go work at a startup with an insane burn rate.

Pros

Cons

This company wants people who will drink the kool aid, do whatever they are asked no matter how unreasonable, and never ask questions. Management has double standards and is dishonest about what they actually want from their employees. Their communication skills are nonexistent. They want a bunch of “yes mans” who are willing to be on the clock 24/7, and they don’t respect their employees’ expertise. They are also lazy and force their employees to pick up the slack. Finally, they view their employees as labor to exploit not human beings. Stay far away. The pay is not worth your mental health, and they are lying about implementing an “equitable pay” policy. They continue to underpay some employees and overpay others.
